Golden Globes

The excellent board organisers have frequently asked for ideas for a replacement to the current author popularity poll.
As a contributor myself, I didn't really want to make this suggestion, which I've had in my mind for a while, but then I thought 'sod it'! Honestly, it's nothing to do with the fact that I only have just over 8% of current users' votes!!
OSCARS, or perhaps more appropriate for this site, GOLDEN GLOBES!!
With the Hollywood Awards season under way, why not eunuch.org's own awards. announced via the site on Oscar night?
Various categories, not just writers but other contributors, producers, etc.
Let those better qualified than me suggest the award categories, but what fun to receive a golden globe, of a certain shape, from eunuch.org!
