The last few times I have logged onto the chat via Java ( my mIRC no longer seems to work) I have got access that shows all the usual. I get messages in both lobby and pvt, But noone seems to be able to see anything I send. I see what I type on my screen but no replies to anything. Any suggestions please?

Is your Java up to date?

that would be the simple solution, but unfortunately. yep. as uptodate as can be

I will look into this and see what I can find. There have been a few others in the chat with the same problem, but so far we don't how or what is causing it.

In the mean time you try using the alternate link.

And if you have an IRC client (mIRC, Trillian, IRCxpro, etc.) you can use the following settings to access the chat.

Server name: darkstar1.tzo.com

Port: 6667

Christina, I would start by collecting the users' OS, as well as the Java client they use & the Java version if they can find it. For example, Firefox 2 incorporates Sun Java, I do believe.
