Question about new icons

For a little while now I have noticed that a new icon has appeared underneath user's avatars. Instead of the Green Reputation boxes, there are now new Golden Daffodils (Jonquils) or are they Milky Bar Kid Sheriff Badges?

Clearly, these icons are advantageous but how are they awarded or given?

It is looking just a little bit like Monopoly now, where when you have so many green boxes you can buy a Hotel but I don't think that is the answer :)

Have I missed a posting or link explaining these new emblems?

If not, could someone inform us all about these Bright Yellow additions?

Thanks in advance.

I do believe the star represents the next level of reputation points. As your reputation rises, as indicated by the the colored boxes, and you reach a certain amount of points, you are awarded a star and the boxes reset.

Actually, the three colors of boxes and the yellow daffodils mean about as much as money in a game of Monopoly®. They're great fun, but you can't buy a cup of coffee or a newspaper with them, no matter how many you've accumulated.

Be that as it may Jesus, and you can't beat a good cup of coffee, I would like to thank the 3 people who've given me new🙏 Karma points here. It is very sweet and nice of you and hey, I have a Daffodil now! Thank you :)

Jesus I can read my newspaper online at least. A good EA reputation is appreciated and is worthwhile. It's nice to share Karma isn't it?
