an androcur question
When I was first taking androcur just as it really started to kick in (about 10 days in) it got so that it was uncomfortable to sit down and I had to use a pillow. This only lasted about a day but I have never heard of anything like this before and wandered if I was the only one. This started at the same time as the breast development.

The time to have androcur start to kick in is about right. I have not heard of anyone being uncomfortable with the use of the drug. Is it your balls or sack hurting?

It was not in the balls and sack, and like I said it lasted only about a day. It think that I was somehow caused by fat redistribution.

I never had a problem with androcur, as a matter of fact I didn't get any results from it, but, with spirotone, It semed to irritate my (siatic) (ciatic) nerve, (I don't know how you spell it). Anyway, it hurt down my lower back and leg for a couple of days and then it was gone.

Fat redistribution takes months and years. You do not feel it move. You may have just had a bad day.

The prostrate gland is indirectly affected by lack of testosterone. This could be a sign of a problem or just a coincident. Either way it might not be a bad idea to have it checked out by a doctor.
Bobbie is right about the fat redistribution,

The sciatic nerve would only be affected from damage to the spinal cord or a missplaced injection into the buttocks. I have a lower back injury which affects the sciatic nerve and I am reminded of it constantly every day.
Lower spinal injuries can affect a wide variety of nerve functions including genital, bladder, bowel and legs.
Spironolactone is a potassium sparing diuretic. It's function will increase urine production as well as raise potassium levels. Increased kidney output and electrolytes level imbalance are most common with it's use (besides it's affect of testosterone blocking).
