This is basically a pro- voluntary castration website, but I wonder if a forum for those who have been castrated could post their regrets if they have them. I think that it would present a balanced picture of this life changing decision. What do others think of this idea?

I believe you'll find that Phillip1's thread on becoming a eunuch enlightening. His thread provides a good deal of insight on the entire topic and serves a very important source of information to all who have any inclination.

Unfortunately, most of those who regret seem to go away. A few stick, some have said their piece over the years, as well they ought - and folks ought to listen, as well, and closely. The temperance of hard reality should be "sobering," one would hope, before folks make regretable choices. On the other hand, such regrets, considered and prepared for, are also the paving for a new road that some of us choose to drive. Let's just hope some of those roads are less bumpy than others.

I for one havent regretted one second of my new life but then again I didnt rush into this eather.I read the posts that Christina and River and others posted.I feel if one dose his home work and realey thinks about what this is all about he will be ready for what this all means good and bad.I can not even begin to even try to explain how much better my life is now.But I do know others have found that they wished they wouldent have gone through with this so again I say DO YOUR HOME WORK

The idea of the forum would be to encourage those who regret their choice to stay on EA.. that this is a supportive environment for all eunuchs, not just those who are happy with getting castrated...I thought of this after one young eunuch who was active here apparently now has regrets, according to posts on another website. He has stopped posting here..

I try to talk to all who come here and make them examine their motives, beliefs and so forth and I warn them to try to resolve their problems in other manners. Still, they get pissed off when I suggest that they seek counseling. Then, they go crying about how they were 'persuaded' to go off and to do something they were warned against. Carelessly disregarding all suggestions not to go through with it, they get it done and then blame this site because they made a choice that they regret.

Well, WE DO NOT 'PERSUADE' anybody to do anything. People come here looking for information and when they find it, it is up to them to decide what to do with their own bodies.

To make such a broad-based statement with a supposition that you know of the motives and minds of all posters and members here pre-supposes that you have the power of telepathy.

You have no such power, I am sure, or you would not make such a preposterous statement. YOU would know better.

People make up their minds to do many things that that once done can never be undone. But to blame their decision to be castrated on the members who post here is tantamont to blaming murder not on the perpetrators of that murder, but instead blaming it upon those who write murder stories and blaming it upon people who have killed under other circumstances.

It is a pretense of political correctness to shirk individual responsibility and instead to shuffle that responsibility upon society, social groups or social customs. If a person is not responsible enough to acknowledge that their actions such as seeking and obtaining their own castration was something that they actively done then perhaps they need to seek counseling.

It is so easy to blame others for our lot in life but it is so difficult to accept responsibility for one's own actions. Why is this?

It because it is easy to bawl for sympathy to a liberal-minded person who thinks that since they are not responsible for their own situations in life that nobody else is responsible for their decisions and life situations, either.

Well, it is high time that one takes a serious look at one's self when one gets to the point where one blames someone else because one sought and one obtained a voluntary castration.

Or, alternatively, perhaps one should seek and obtain an elective pre-frontal lobotomy. Perhaps this site (http://www.terminalstupidity.com/) can help those of you out there who hold this as a viable arguement, or who believe this trape.

Or, perhaps you can refer some other snivelling simp over the loss of the balls that they had no business with in the first place...

I have no regrets, but I was castrated later in life, after experiencing a regular sex life. Maybe that had something to do with it, maybe not. My desire to be castrated grew over time and the desire deepened and worsened. It got to the point where I was desperate to be castrated and finally acted it out. Left testicle removed in 1997 with assistance from a friend, right one by Kimmel last March. I do take look dose Androgel to help with my psyche and health. Even still, I have gotten a little chesty and flabby, I don't think it's all age related, though at 49 it might. Again maybe that has something to do with me being happy with my current state. I do get erections and can have sex and do have sex, but I am not driven to have sex and I can go for days without even thinking about it. I'm in control. So maybe I'm not the best one to ask if I have regrets.

There are two classes of eunuchs, those who use HRT and those that don't. Maybe you should be more specific. Hash

Huh?? A-1 If you read my posts I never accused anyone of persuading men to castrate themselves, there is no language to that effect at all. My question is how do we encourage those who do indeed have regrets over their choice to stay active on EA and share their experiences with others. Iam puzzled as to your strong reaction.. I am not blaming anyone for the regrets of others and there is absolutely nothing in my statements that says or even implies that...

I think "balance" is a stupid concept in this context.

If you are even thinking about this seriously at all then

you are considered FAR from balanced by mainstream society.

If you are thinking about doing this then you feel that too much

testosterone is creating an IMbalance in your psyche. The whole

point of going through with this is either to ACHIEVE balance, or

to achieve purification from something you view as a contamination.

What you are CALLING "a balanced picture of this decision" is just

an attack on the whole concept.

The question of whether there does or does not exist a "regrets forum"

is not important. In at least 2 of the existing fora, it would be on-topic

for ANYone to start a "regrets thread", and that is already possible with

the way things are currently organized. This is a solution in search of a

problem.
