Guys, if Androcur only stops the effects of T, can T be reduced in another manner without castration.

Andrucor basically does the same thing as cstration. I was on it for a year and a half. My Doctor didn't like me being on it for more than 2years.
I noticed you have pain due to mumps I would go to a urologist

thanks. I am going to see a urologist. Not sure if I can get an appointment this side of the Holidays. As for Androcur, I am really not sure how it works but I heard that it 'Blocks the effects of T', which I took to mean it doesnt reduce it.

If I remember correctly, it functions as a GnRH inhibitor, which in turn tells the testes to stop production of testosterone.

So what else could be a real alternaive to the likes of Androcur, which possibly wouldnt show up in test generally done by the medical profession? Soy which I understand is a natural phytoestrogen?

"Natural" and herbal products plain don't work, or what little benefit one gains can only be obtained by massive ingestion of the products. Very expensive and doesn't work. If you want to eat about 38 pounds of soy a day, tell us if you get any effective results.....
Chemically, you have no alternatives that do not show in a blood screen. The only effective way to reduce testosterone is either using chemicals, destroying/disabling the testicles, or removing them.
What is the essence of your desire? Your profile suggests a desire to be rid of your testicles as part of a personal need. Some of your posts suggest testicular pain. If pain truly is the issue, persistent follow up with a urologist(s) would be most likely to either provide effective treatment or removal. That may also be a viable approach if your motives are aesthetics, BIID, or whatever.

Years ago my desire was aesthetic. Now however it is more to do with pain.

Zac, I'm glad you have an appointment which will hopefully investigate the pain.
Aside from the Urologist (or as well as) I don't think it would be harmful to you to discuss your interest in Chemical castration and Androcur with the most sympathetic natured Doctor in your Doctor's practice. They will listen to you
and it could prove helpful. Androcur is available on prescription if your Dr. believes it will be of positive benefit to you and that is encouraging isn't it?:)
Soya products are a useful minor natural supplement and they aren't harmful.
There are some quite pleasant tasting Soya milks now. It certainly tastes OK
in coffee and for cereals and is a whole lot healthier than the industrially produced cows milk on sale in supermarkets. Give it a chance and the flavour will grow on you. I have posted about Soya previously if you use the Search function. Good luck and good wishes for your goals - meanwhile, I hope you can resolve the pain issue.

I am truly reluctant to speak to anyone especially my doctor about this. If the pain continues to be a bad as it is, then I think that could be my way to getting what I want done without any aqward questions. I have said in previous posts; I really do hate to be judges and that is what I think the doctor will do.

Zac, I honestly think you could be putting your entire health at risk.
OK, so talking about Androcur isn't your chosen course right now, but go through with a check up. Does someone feeling your balls or prostrate freak you out that much? It is all done so medically there is neither fear and certainly no
risk of an erection; the rooms are always so cold anyway! Do yourself a huge favour and overcome any fear. Greater aspects of health could be endangered than your testes and chords, you realise? Take it one step at a time, eh?
There is nothing in the least sexy about seeing a Urologist but they do sort out a whole host of problems and let's face it an appointment in Britain remains free, doesn't it? I hope I sound helpful and not intrusive; I'd hate that.
