Sharing Banding Experiences

I thought I would start this thread by talking about what I have been doing and hopefully hearing from others about what they have been up to. I have played at banding on and off for years now using an elastrator i.e the four pronged jobbie with green rubber rings. It is intended for animals and I think is not quite there for the average man. I have found that one ring alone does not completely stop blood flow (tested by nicking a small vein in the scrotum) In my case it takes 3 to do the job. I have actually put on 10 rings at one time piled up about three deep which the nick test showed to be totally effective as well as advancing the numbing process.
I think that there are two causes of pain whille banding is in progress.
1. The pinching and compression of the scrotum generates a sharp burning pain after about 20-30 minutes in my case
2. Testicle pain i.e. the pain in your gut when your testicle is protesting whatever you are doing to it. I think that this is due to slowly rising blood pressure since the blood can get past the band through the arteries and not back through the veins. I don't get testicle pain with three bands or more. I expect that the Callicrate and EZE bander systems would work better but dont know if they would have more of a pinching effect.
Actually the sharpest twinge you get is when you cut the bands to take them off. I use a Stanley knife blade very carefully to do that. Nail scissors work but not as well since you have to dig the points down past the ring to have any effect which sometimes results in cutting a bit of skin
I find the the scrotum usually goes numb in about 20 - 30 minutes but the balls remain sensitive longer. The longest I have gone is 90 minutes or so. Also found that the pinching pain can be removed by packing in cold water/ice which will also numb the ball so the package will feel completely dead. It was a very interesting feeling feeling your balls as just a dead weitght with no feeling either in them or the scrotum. Not sure why I stopped at that point It was a temptation to take it all off at that point since pain would not be an issue but it was a great feeling. Scrotum came back in about 20-30 minutes but tingled for about an hour afterwards. The balls slowly recovered feeling about 10 minutes after the bands and ice were removed, probably because they were not chilled all the way through. They were pretty numb though . I skewered then both with a 6 inch long hat pin and didn't feel a thing except a little tugging
Be careful about putting ice cubes straight out of the freezer onto the scrotum. You can get frost bite which can be painful.
You can do banding quite happily with heavy rubberbands pulled tight and in multiple layers and you can overlay then with small radiator clamps to provide added pressure. If you apply the radiator clamp directly to the scrotum though as it gets tight the skin bulges into the little slots and gets chewed up by the screw which doesnt feel too bad while you are excited and tightening it up until you reach your pain threshold but hurts a lot more when you take it off and leaves burn like lesions which take about a week to heal.
One of these days I would like to find another guy with similar interests for mutual play of this type. I think it would be great to have another guy banding me and likewise great to band up another guy.
