I've been on Adrocur without break since July. I take 2 x 2 50mg (200mg) per day. Erections have gone, as expected without significant stimulation. When I ejaculate it is virtually dry, which again was expected. I am less hairy; In fact my hairy back is significantly depleted. As for the psychological effects I have to say I have noticed no changes. I still feel as horny as I did before jerking off as and when I can. When seeing someone attractive, I still get feelings in my groin, alas without erection. My weight has not altered, which is a good thing. I like some of results, loss of hair, but am uphappy with others, especially the still high libido. I am not sure what my T levels are, as I haven't checked them, but I cant beleive that my levels would be anything other than ' significantly reduced'.

Keep in mind that your primary sex drive originates from the most significant sex organ, your brain. My T levels may be in the cellar, but when I meet or see a good looking, interesting man, I still am thrilled. It may take an act of God to get something to pay attention, but the rest of me still will. I would expect that much of the "libido" issue you mention has more to do with desires than dicks.

lol. I'm not sure but you may be right. So I guess other than having a frontal lobotomy , I'm just going to have to put up with my 'desires'. So would I get the same effects if I was surgically castrated. If so, what's the point, apart from the 'smooth' affect. I personally think that most people like me on the site are unaware of this.....

I myself had a very sexual past. Up until my surgery in October, I had been masturbating for release every other day, and like you enjoyed just jerking off cause it felt good and wanted my erection to go down. The same night of my surgery I got a very strong erection. And this was common for the next 2 weeks, around the third week I noticed that I was having fare less erections, only one a night. This has stayed pretty consistent. I still find people attractive, but in a different sense. Instead of thinking about sex I find myself wanting to feel there touch more than anything, and not for that sexual release.

I can count the number of time I have ejaculated in the past month on one had, that’s very different from what I could have said only two months ago.

Zac, I must say that the Adrocur is kind of scary. I think that the surgery itself is definitely more effective at relieving the chronic sexual lust your testicles produce. The mental changes come not to long after surgery, as you can tell from my first hand account. When I do get the feeling for sexual release I can still attain it. There is not a dry ejaculation but a very intensely pleasurable, wet one.

Maybe I got a bit side tracked there, what I wanted to tell you is, yes, the castration has lowered my high libido. I can control my self now, more than ever before. My mind doesn’t wonder during the day into sexual fantasies, and sporadic erections. I never took any sort of chemicals so I cant say what the two compare to for me, I only have the knowledge on the neutering.

Is there any danger with the chemicals?

I too have been on 200mg Andocur since July. My libido is much reduced from before -- which was VERY high. I seldom get an erection unless I watch a very hot video -- but it only lasts a short time and is not as hard as I used to get. Last ejeculation was dry. Since starting Andocur I have not had a sexual enncounter (I am gay) and not had a strong desire for one.

I am using this as a bridge to actual removal -- to lessen the transition side effects of being without testosterone.
