You can always tell when Christmas time is near...

Post by A-1 (imported) »

...You start seeing stories like THIS (http://www.townhall.com/News/NewsArticl ... d982c49681) in the news.

God dammit, A-1, next time post a warning that it's gross shit like this. It's hard enough to keep blood sugar under control without having to stop and puke before I can edit.

-P.

Of course, all religious holidays seem to bring out the best in people...:-\

NOT!

P.S. She did it over a year ago...but they had to wait until Christmas to file the charges...

...kind of like telling us MERRY CHRISTMAS!

I am not sure what you mean, I went to the link to see where they arrested a woman for killing her one month old in a microwave.

When I was a child, I heard about a maintenance painter at the main airport in Atlanta. He stepped in front of radar and cooked internally.

Well,

The point is that this heinous crime was allegedly committed in AUGUST OF 2005.

Why did they wait until After Thanksgiving and right before Christmas of 2006 to prosecute this person? That is almost as diabolical as the alleged perpetrator.

Yeah, it's GROSS, alright. That's why it is in the cellar...nothing political here...

Ok I read that article also I just had a problem with it connected to christmas.

This may be a hard one to prove, but the thought of doing that to your baby, a month old, that is just wrong.

Why did they have to wait 15 months?

Where I live the state crime lab is running 6 months to 12 months behind in processing tissue samples. Could that suggest a factor in the delay? --FLO--

It gives a whole new meaning to, "I want my baby-back ribs!"

Ok, that was bad but I couldn't resist. If It weren't for dark humor (and antidepressants) I'd bawl my eyes out over this story.

Taylor,

It makes one take pause and consider if it is not better for a woman to abort than to allow her no alternative but to have the baby and after a time become so frustrated with her situation that she sticks it into a microwave oven, huh? :(

Some may not see the difference, but the microwaving of the BABY was a choice, also. It was a choice made with a real, live child, one that was capable of living without the support of a placenta, but not without the support of a loving parent. 😠

Infanticide is not a new concept. It has existed for years. In some cultures female babies are killed while male babies are allowed to live. :-|

...is Western civilization superior to these cultures? Apparently not... judging from this story... our religion and our cultural mores did not deter her, did they? :shakemitk

...when you look at humanity from the standpoint that God must have, I mean to be capable of forgiving a person who did this, then you begin to understand humanity, and you begin to understand unconditional love and forgiveness. 😿

At that point, then you begin to understand how these things can be prevented by accepting humanity for it's frailties and weaknesses and you are better able to recognize the trouble signals because you are no longer in denial about the nature of humankind and you understand that you must allow people the room to commit lesser sins, to sin, and to seek forgiveness and to mature and to progress so that they are better able to keep themselves from becoming so desperate, so angry, so horrible. 🤗

We are all made of the same stuff. We are all human. We are all capable of this kind of brutality. WE are all, except for the grace of God, no better than she is... 😭
