Chemical Castration harder then Physical Castration?

90% of testosterone comes from the gonads and 10% from your kidneys, so if one loses ones gonads due to castration he still has 10% coming from the glands on top of the kidneys. If one is chemical castrated that is a 100% shut down of testosterone so chemically castrated males have no testosterone then a male whose gonads were removed, although its much lower, there is still some in ones system. Can one tell the difference with only 10% testosterone level then none at all?

First of all, your kidneys do not produce any testosterone. Aside from your testicles, a minor amount is produced by your adrenal glands. A typical castrate without HRT, will probably show a serum testosterone level of between 0-50 ng/dl. Most that I've seen have been around 20. The normative ranges for normal testosterone levels can range upwards of 1,000 ng/dl, depending upon which screening method is used. Personally, I doubt there would be a significant difference between 0 and 50 ng/dl that would be readily discernible. But then, I am not and haven't been chemically castrated - only surgically.

I was chemically castrated and my T count was 35, after castration it did not even show. The only real difference between the two is one can be reversed the other one cant.
