Cardiac and CAD question
Anyone out there ever find some realistic information on the risks for heart disease and CAD with hypogonadism? I have beed a eunuch for about two years and have gained 20lbs and my cholesterol has risin.ldl mostly.
I have searched the net and can find no studies to support either.(twin)

I have seen no studies specifically on androgen involvement in cardiac cases, or its involvement in any cardia disease function. Nor has roomie, who is a cardiac nurse.
OTOH, after my recent trip to ER and cardiac, they were extremely interested in diabetes. I'm sure you know that there can be a lot of concern there....
There have been a few studies relative to Type II diabetes and androgen deficiency. They are more ancillary correlative studies spun out of other research, and have not been replicated, as far as I can find. Essentially, whether diabetes is causative of androgen depletion, or vice versa has not even been touched - at least as far as I have found so far.

thanx for the reply, I agree with the implications diabetes has on the body with the micro amd macro vascular narrowing.Bad news if your a diabetic.
Bottom line kristoff is I would like to remain off the andro-derm for good but am concerned with the long term affects on my cardovascular system.thanx for the reply,(twin)
