Did somebody reset or change how the green squares are awarded? Now I see folks with yellow squares and also big yellow sun bursts. Or have my eyes gone bad?:D
What is the difference between dark green squares and the lighter green ones? Also all of my light green squares are now gone.
I know it has to do with the rating system, but it would be nice to know how these things are awarded.
Thanks.

Each type and color represents point values that are accumulated when one receives "reputation" cites from others. The large sunbursts, represent about 800 or 1000 points, lesser values for squares. Don't recall the exact assignments..... Yes, the VBulletin folks did change the symbols a bit this version. The more squares you get, then eventually you will get star bursts.
This whole thing is intended mostly for fun, though some use it in a more serious vein (some also with vendetta). Generally, I give only positive karma (reputation); if negative is needed I'll usually chew ass in posts or in PMs. Basically, give it out, be sure to attach a comment, and it will usually come full circle.

I thought the Yellow Sun represented our humility...which would mean Kristoff is the most humble of us all.
On the other hand....

I just thought they represented the passing of wind! Something to do with old farts!
Nah, can't be that, I don't have any.
LOL

Well I tried to bump your points up about 9,000, but I guess you gotta have many more points than that. I guess I just don't have quite enough ooommph to get you a sun

I gave him some, too, but it only added one yellow square. I certainly didn't accomplish much. On the first day, I had one sun and one green, but now, I no longer have a sun. Guess someone doesn't like me. Oh, well.

I was able to give MacWolf one yellow square, but then, he already has a sun. I'm jealous.

Wow! A little sunshine on a rainy day. Thanks. At least these reputation points are more fun that the other ones. I'll spread them around.
It gave me enough for me to give Colin a sun. He deserved one.
