Come north my friend, come north. You know they dont call it the frozen tundra of Lambeau field for nothing. Green Bay is just a bit to the east of us and a little south. :)

I do remember Texas, 1965 and 66, I have been trying to forget it ever sense.

But then again it was Lubbock so, well as I understand it thats not really Texas anyway. Its just red mud moving up and down the panhandle.

Welcome to the Upper Central Midwest, River.... This is nothing but a blip.... It is still T-shirt and short pants weather.... We'll get you adjusted yet.... Borrow some of that eunuch over-heating from Robby, if needed. Finally took the A/C out last night.

OTOH, I will be leaving for Tex's Ass on Thursday, Mexico on Friday, meeting a friend in SA on Sunday, and returning to balmy Minnesota on Monday. I've bought sun block - you think I'll need it on my snow-white gringo tush?

I would give anything to get out of Texas. I like the people here and am proud of our history, but the heat is unbearable.

I have been to Minnesota a few times (not in the winter) and thought it was a marvelous place. At least you get four seasons.

Kristoff, always a good idea to bring sunblock when you come to Texas. Even if it rains or is cloud covered, the sun's rays can penetrate heavily.

Hope you enjoy your trip. At least you can taste of the excellent Tex Mex food in San Antonio which cannot be found even outside the city limit.

As I look out my window (not an easy thing in this house) I see snow. Yes, snow. Not snow of the is it there or is it not variety, but steady light snowfall. The ground is still too warm for the snow to stay frozen. This bodes ill for the rest of the winter. --FLO--

Humph. As I look out my window, it's muggy, foggy and temp should be 95 today. One good thing is that Minnesota is sending us a "cold front" and it's going to be REALLY cool. Temp should be 85 on Thursday.
