I once thought I was fairly adept at surfing the net looking for dates, events and personalities but lately I've run into a brick wall and need someone in the EA who is brilliant at researching to help me.

There was a vicious seven battle that occurred on April 26, 1882 in the Saharan desert between 300 members of the French Foreign Legion and 8,000 Berbers (arabs).
