I have been, and still am having Massive amounts of lock outs, from the computer, caused by my mouse, which I am trying to find a way to replace.
I will keep trying to get back here, But do not expect to see me as often, till I can replace the mouse.

Your Right! And while I am at it, I should take out it's Ball, Castrate it so to speak. Then we would be a matched pair!

Oh!
I just got a castrated mouse. Bought one this weekend that used a laster to track the position. No balls at all. My girlfriend saw it and immidatly said, "look at the castrated mouse." Her giggles still have my back in shivers.
Ok, you can get a cheep optical mouse at any computer store, they say that without the ball they are cleaner and last longer. Wait! Isn't that the same reason they give as positive effects of castration?

Got2,
My computer is a 1996 model, and uses Only ports, serial and com. Everything made today uses USB plugs. I must find a local store that either has old stock, or carries adaptors. The local (about 1 mile) stores, a staples, & a Radio Shack, say there are adaptors, but that they do not carry them. They also then push real hard to sell me a new computer, which I do not need. All I now use it for, is as a word processor, to send e-mail, and to come here.

Logitec makes an optical mouse with an adaptor that lets you plug it right into the serial port. The whole kit costs around $20.00. Get 'em at Best Buy, Comp USA, Circuit City, etc.
I like using ball-less mice. Every time a mouse's ball gets dirty I just replace it with a ball-less mouse.
Does that mean my computer is now a eunuch?
