Starting down the route

After years lurking, and much thinking, I have finally decided to go for it with chemical castration. I do have a number of questions that I would like help with. I have been through most of the posts in the archive, but seem to find may posts with conflicting answers, so apologies if this is covering old ground.
I want to be a man, without the ability to become erect. I dont want to feminise myself, so which choice of drug would be best. I was going to take Depo Provera, as the majority of the posts suggest that this should not cause feminisation, but then a lot of the posts also suggest it will not reduce my sex drive.
If I do take the Depo, should I also take Tamoxifen to prevent the breast growth, or is it not needed.
I understand that Androcur would be the best result for total limpness (again, conflictng posts) but I will not have access to my GP (practically laughed in my face, and asked if I wanted referring to a shrink) and so will not be able to ask for liver function tests. Is there some other reason I can give for wanting these tests. (UK folks prob best to advise, our medical system not as self serve as the US system seems to be)
What should the doseage be? I was initially planning to take 1 shot at a time, spread apart by a month, but again, the advice seems to conflict. Should I go for 2 shots to start, then 1 a month. Or one every 2 weeks.
Sorry again if all these questions are in a FAQ somewhere, and thanks in advance for your help

Go for DP. It won't grow breast and accomplishes the same thing.

My regiment was two shots DP the first time, one in each buttocks. Then one shot per week for four weeks and then once a month.
I did NOT have side effects like some have had.

Progress so far!
Started off a month ago with two shots, and followed up weekly with one shot. Had 5 shots in total (as of today)
The results have been very dissapointing. I am feeling incredibly tired, and get irritated easily, but the effects I was wanting, reduced labido, lower sex drive have not appeared at all. If anything, it has had the reverse effect in that I am matrubating more than usual. I am assuming that it isnt a fault with the product, I got it from a recommended source, and it looks legitimate.
Am I being unreasonable, expecting results after a month?

Not unreasonable. I did the same thing the first 3 weeks but now into the fith week, I rarely think about sex.
As for the fatigue that is part of the side effects, except for *me* which I had increased energy, a more positive attitude and felt I could conquer the world. Maybe I got Depo-Provera tainted with LSD.

To give balance, I do sometimes get fatigued, especially a day or so after a shot. But a few cups of coffee or an energy drink takes care of that. I agree that it will take a few weeks for the effects to sink in ... after all it is time release.

Based upon reported experience, not mine, be patient....
The fatigue is common to most experiences with castration - surgical or chemical. It will ease and pass with time. Just maintain activity and exercise. It also helps in keeping down weight gain, also common with castration... This part IS my experience, and that of many others.
All good things come to those who wait... or so "they" say...
