After having been on DP for a month now, I have noticed that it is doing its work.

However, what I find interesting is that there have been no side effects such as fatigue or mood swings.

The 2nd day after the first injection, I rode my bike 6 miles a day with hills and peaks, etc. Actually, my energy increased.

As for as the mood swings that is supposed to happen, I am still waiting. My sprits (no, not the wine and appertifs), have been better than ever.

Ive been well over a month on androcur, I also did not notice moodswings, but I have energy loss.

Did you have your blood tested for testosterone?

Got the 3 vial at first but didn't do it when I first got it back in May. Too busy, went to France for the summer and started it upon return Aug 2

OK So talk to me about Depo.....Please...:)

How often do you have to do it, how long for reaction (I imagine 7-12 days?)..

How much is it for a 2 month dose?

Side affects?

Is it permanent after a couple of shots? (I thought I read that someone said this?).

I'm curious :)

I took two shots the first week, one in each buttucks. Then, one shot per week for four weeks.

Within 72 hours I did notice a slight change but nothing drastic.

It was not until the 3rd to the 4th week did the true effects take place.

Presently, the sex drive is diminished. Although one will always have thoughts I never think much about sex any more.

Yes, one can still ejaculate, sustain an erection (as in physical castration I am told), but it takes much more effort and the desire simply isn't there.

How much is it for a 2 month dose?

Purchase DP from Global Drug. It is $75.00 for 3 vials 150m including shipping. That is the least expensive anywhere!

Side affects?

For *me* there were NO SIDE EFFECTS. For others some have told of slight depression, mood swings and extreme tiredness the first 24 to 48 hours. EVERYBODY IS DIFFERENT. After I take my shots, I immediately do a long bike ride. So, as for long term side effects no research has been done on that for males as Upjohn, the pharmaceutical manufacturer refuses to do studies on it for males as that gets into legal issues for chemical castration for sex offenders (another topic for discussion in another area but not here).

From what has been reported once the shots are discontinued, the body will return to its normal state. That is another issue with sex offenders that has been reported over the years. But DP is probably the "safest" to take in that there are little to no side effects and the body does return to its normal state. (If there is any such thing as a "safe" drug).

Overall, I am content with my current state being on DP. However, one never knows, I could decide to stop and return to my previous pre-DP state of being.

So you get the 3 vials, is that 3 shots then?

Thanks for the info, might be a better route that the Cyproterene/Androcur (sp?) route!

I've been off of the T blockers for 2 months now, don't like it!!

I like a LITTLE bit of control when I want it but waking up in the morning is just plain - yuck! :D

Thanks!

That's my suggestion. You might want to buy 6 vials at first just to stock up on it. It generally takes two weeks to arrive. My first shipment took 3 weeks.

Don't think there is a "stronger" version. It only is sold in 150m.

Sex offenders are given 300 to 500m per week which some doctors/scientists say is way too much, but the courts and society really are not concerned about health issues of sex offenders. (Again, a topic that should be discussed in a separate forum).

However, 2 shots the first week, followed by one per week for a month and then once per month seems to work fine.
