Hey Girls,

There is going to be a very interesting movie on the Lifetime channel tonight. It's titled "A Girl Like Me". It about a male teenager that decides to live her life as the female she really is with all the difficulties that come from making a decision to go public and the RLE of living as a female.

From what I've read about it......it's a don't miss television program for girls like us. :)

Hey Girls,

I was wondering if any of you caught the movie last night and if so what your opinion or thoughts on it? Please feel free to vote in the posted survey.

I did get the chance to see most of the movie and thought it was good. I wouldn't go so far as to say it was educational, but it did give an insight into the life of a transsexual.

In all I think the movie projected a positive light towards transsexuals and I would hope it would help others to understand us a little better.
