I really can't find a purpose for my scrotum now that I'm castrated. It has shrunk up, though it can still be stretched out quite a bit. Kimmel stated that he can remove about 75% of it. Scar tissue from years of abuse has messed it up, so there's no sense saving it for anything. It's strange, but I don't feel like a complete eunuch with it still there, that's why I made the appointment to have it completely removed. Anyone else go through this or had this feeling? Hash

A week from today I check into the hospital to complete my surgical castration. The doctor and I have talked about scrotum removal, but I have decided to wait until quite some time after the castration to reassess.

You are way ahead of me on this, but I think I would prefer not to have a useless bag of skin hanging there. One concern I have is that I have read many who are castrated have increased problems with skin "rashes" (may not be the correct medical term). Some have written that it is a parallel (although different source and mechanism) as women who have yeast infection problems. I am not sure I believe that.

My thinking is that if you want your scrotum removed and there will be no damage to you (or others), then why not. Just remember the concept of consequences and accountability. It will also be a permanent event.

Haven't heard about any rashes. But the damn thing sticks to my leg when I am working hard, or sticks all over itself like a crumpled, used handkerchief.... eeeww. Just uncomfortable; one day it will be gone just like its contents are.

More than six years following the harvesting of its contents, mine's now shrunken quite a bit as well - quite wrinkled. It currently serves as a receptacle for several jewelry rings that attract attention from others when I'm nude or it's otherwise exposed. It's also quite sensitive to touch and erotic when I'm hard. In that instance, it also becomes totally absorbed into the base of my cock. And yeah, it can still be stretched quite fully and easily accommodate up to a litre of saline solution. So I figure it still has some uses.

However, I know what you mean and why one would want most of it removed as well. It'd be more comfy w/o it on those rare hot, humid days we get in the Pacific NW. And strangers that see us nude could certainly tell more easily that we're ballless. I'm keeping mine for the time being, but I certainly understand why you're moving for removal.

From my point of view, an empty sac is of little value, except there are some nerve bundles there, a good surgeon will know how to deal with the correct excision of the sac. A nice touch would be to have it tanned and use it as a small change purse, I know of one guy (a friend of mine) who had this done and presented it to his partner as a present, an unusual gift dont u think but very practical

I can't say what an empty sack feels like, but having no sack feels great. It takes a little while to get use to the look though. It's rather erotic. Why can only 75% of your sack be removed? Is it because of the skin damage? I would estimate that 98% of mine was removed. I had mine removed along with my balls so I had to have a drain, but that won't be required since your already castrated.

If you remove the whole scrotum, he said from past experiences, many have told him it causes some discomfort and even pain. That's what the good doc told me, whether it's true or not, only those who had the whole thing removed can tell. Hash

I was castrated nearly 5 years ago now and my scrotum was removed at the same time so I have never had the problem of an empty sack. I was left with a smooth area below the penis and a small scar running down towards my ass. My penis has also shrunk even more now and has always been useless other than as a pee spout but then I do have a few other problems. My urologist has offered me a penectomy several times which might suit we sahll see.

I guess Kimmel has more expierence with this than anyone else, so he should know. Acording to my expierence and it sounds like Kimberley's is the same, that is not always true. For me, I wish the 5% I fave left, was gone. Sometimes it is a little bothersome. I think it's probably difficult to get it all when your in the sturups. I was Dr. Alter's first scrotum removal, he usually makes a labia out of it. But I am over all very happy with the end result. I have a hard time even seeing the scar. When I stand with my legs together is the only time I see a little skin hang down. I haven't had any discomfort walking and have had no pain. Perhaps the pain is the cord issue again.
