Scrotal removal & cords

I made an appointment with Dr. Kimmel (July 10) to have my scrotum removed. He didn't feel comfortable removing it when I had my remaining testicle removed because it was split in half (another part of my past) and thought the swelling might need room to expand. Anyway, the swelling has gone done considerably since my operation (Mar. 22nd) but the cord remains and seems to have attached itself to the inner wall of the scrotum. I'm told that this happens a lot of times, but I'm wondering how it will affect my upcoming scrotum removal? Thoughts?
