What causes castration fantasies? Maybe nothing at all causes them?

I want to know and understand things including understanding myself.

What causes people to have castration fantasies? I have thought the each case is different and that it is caused by something different in each case.

Many times over the years I have wondered what caused my femdom castration fantasies and my feelings about female domination. What made me have my femdom castration fantasies and feelings about female domination?

I have looked back at my childhood and growing up years many times, and it was normal, average, typical. I cannot find anything in my childhood and growing up that would have caused my femdom castration fantasies or the feelings I have about female domination.

Then I asked, could it be that nothing at all caused my femdom castration fantasies and feelings about female domination and that the reason I have them is simply because that's the way I am? Could it be that nothing caused or made me have these feelings and fantasies, I have them simply because that's the way I am and that's all there is to it?

A lot of the people society considers to be "different" and "outside" of what society considers "normal", and we wonder "why is that person like that, what makes them that way?" Could it be that nothing really caused them to be that way and that they're like that simply because that is the way that person is and that's it?

Psychology and the mind are fascinating, and really psychology and the mind are what we are talking about here.

I have also wondered if a lot of professional psychologists went into that career because when they were growing up or as a young person, they felt they were somehow "different" that they were somehow "outside the normal"

and in their efforts to understand and deal with whatever they felt was "different" or "outside the normal" about themselves is what led them to study psychology.

Where do femdom fantasies come from? That's a toughie. Had them myself. Ultimately, they come from testosterone. Remove the testosterone and they will go away.

I'm submissive by nature. Looking at past relationships, I've tended toward females who were a little older than me, so maybe I liked equality or being a junior partner. Never sought a "me in charge" relationship. Have you had similar pattern?

I've heard about half of the folks in abnormal psychology are there because of their own problems. Speaking for myself, whenever I get my hands on a psychology book, it's the chapters on abnormal psychology that get my interest (TV, TS).

A few years ago I posted on the archive a series of my stories called "Pussy Envy". Though a fantasy, the beginning of the series describes the real events that happened to me at the age of 6. The events that at that early age started my fantasies. First I was accidentally hit in the balls by my sister in the bathhouse in the presence of a big number of naked girls and women. In a couple of weeks my nuts were lashed with a bunch of twigs in the steam bath and again I was surrounded by naked females of all ages. And every time my reaction caused giggling and laughing of the younger girls. And everytime I so envied them.

I was growing in a small Russian town where most of people go to the bathhouse every weekend. My Dad was a sort of drunkard and hardly ever was able to take me to the bathhose at the end of the week. So somewhat up to 7 or 8 I was going to the bathhouse with Mom and sister. So i was so often among naked females. And even after 8y.o. in the summer Mom always took me to the river where she swam naked with other women and she made me take a shower at home with a sister. And to be true I liked it more to be with naked girls than boys. I wished I could look like girls between my legs. And those accidents in the bathhouse just started my fantasies of losing my boy's things. No doubt that if I hadn't been hit in the balls by my sister, I still had been liking female body more than male after all that spending so much time with naked girls. But I'm not sure that without having my testicles ridiculed in such a way in the presence of naked females I ever started so franticaly fantasizing.

The inference (to me) in reading your posting is that the two above incidents actually happened to you. I just want to confirm that, and rule out the possibility that you are referring to a fantasy that you had/have.

Please do not interpret my request for clarification as anything other than wanting to sure of my interpretation of your posting.

Yes, those two accidents did actually happened to me. As for the rest of my stories they are totally fantasy with the only one truthful aspect in them - they in a way describe my feelings since those incidents happened. By the way, I have all my stories rewritten and added a few more. If there's some interest I could repost them on the archive.

Dear Jeanio,

I, too, liked to be naked with GIRLS rather than with boys.

I, too, was interested in what was between their legs. (I wanted it to be ME! )

However, my desires did not start with adult women. It started with girls around my age. A neighbor girl and myself used to have this game. We would get in a closet and one of us would pull our pants down around our ankles and the other would open the door until the one with their pants down said 'stop'.

We never did get caught because the one who was opening the door was always on the outside of the closet. We used the game 'hide and seek' as the excuse for one of us to be hiding in the closet if an adult would come into the room. The game eventually progressed to full nudity.

The coincidence was that we both had matching little brown moles on the right side of our pubic areas just above our genitals.

Needless to say the little games stopped by the time we had reached puberty.

The adults (our parents) never suspected, or if they did, they never mentioned it.
