I know all of you web saavy people out there have scanners and what not.

Why not post a pic of yourself as your avatar?

Here's a thought ... (and by way of explaination)

Scan and upload a picture of you as a young whippersnapper like me and Paolo have done.

Why?

Because it's still you and we all get that personal connection to you!

But aren't you afraid ...

Someone will recognize me? Well, that's why I don't have a current picture up there. My mom or dad might recognize the picture that I have up there now, but if they are surfing the Archive then I have more issues than I thought! :tongueout

So posting a picture of my younger self is a safe way to have 'me' for my picture but still be unrecognizable?

I'd say it's a safe bet that if mom and dad are surfing the Archive, then there's more than a few boys out there with some VERY serious issues this Christmas! Christmas shopping at the local farm supply store, were they!? Besides, one of your little childhood buddies might recognize it, too! Then you could have a reunion! heh

Well, I don't have a scanner, nor much in the way of pictures. Assuming I did find a good picture, could I send it snail mail to your PO BOX and have you do the scanning and put it in my file as my avatar so it becomes a part of my posting?

Yes yes, I know I know...I need to learn more about how to use my computer. Real Soon Now.
