Above is a dish known as “Dragon in the Flame of Desire,” or as you and I might call it, yak penis (waiter included for scale). Though penises have an enduring place in Chinese and Asian cuisine, the new Guolizhuang in Beijing’s Westlake is likely the first restaurant to specialize in penises exclusively. Every dish has a penis, the only exception being those which focus more on the testicles. Newbies unsure of their favorite flavor of wang are advised to sample the hotpot, which contains six different penises and four testicles simmered in chicken stock. Most of these items start at about 300 yuan RMB, but the marquee item — Canadian seal penis — costs over 3,000 yuan RMB and requires ordering in advance. So they can break the news gently to the seal.

I wonder what happens to the waiters when they are dismissed from service.

My son just returned from 2 weeks in Beijin. I asked how the food was and he said, "different." I don't think I will question any further. :dong:

Hmmmm

Hong Kong also has a restaurant specializing in penis dishes. I believe ex-servers are spared. Chinese law forbids the serving of human meat.
