Wayne,
Out of curiosity, can you tell us how much it will cost? I had hoped to find someone local to do my castration (to save time and expense), but had to go to Philly.

Before surgery I went on Andrucor available from masters marketing in the UK.
Andrucor reduced my testostrone to levels of a eunuch. Chemical castration with Andrucor is reverseable not surgery. If you have a regular doctor recommend surgery after chemical use of andrucor for at least a year a urologist may do the Orchiectomy. Im my case my doctor wanted to get me off andrucor after a year and recommended the orchiectomy after a discusssion with him about my reasons for the surgery.
I definately would recommend some kind of chemical castration before surgery for a year so a mistake isn't made and regretted.
Best of luck but don't make a quick decission about surgery until you are SHURE !!

Hi All! Well, it's back. Looks like my PSA is up to 4.3 . Castration is the ultimate answer. I'll go in and reiterate the idea that those things I still have need to be removed. I was recently talking to and "OLD" friend that has had Prostate cancer, went through the whole reutine. Now it's back, bone cancer. They now have decided on castration. A little late, I'd say. When will they learn?
I'll report on my dealings with this later. All the Best, Leona
