To those of you that were following the now lost thread on the article in Details magazine...
I think the issue is due to hit newsstands on the 22nd of February. The coverboy this month is Patrick Dempsey, AKA as the hunky doctor on the show "Grey's Anatomy."
I heard from Bart Blasingame today and he is mailing me an advance copy of the article. I'll let you all know what I think just as soon as I get it... I'm guess Saturday at the earliest.

I decided against validating three posts here that asked exactly the same question: What is this article? Instead, I'll give a brief update of what transpired before the hackers downed the Archive.
Bart Blasengame, a journalist with Details magazine, who has written a number of humorous, but sympathetic articles about various sexual minorities and sexual questions, posted on the Eunuch Archive asking for information and contacts toward writing an article on the voluntary eunuch community. Both Losethem and I checked him out through our various contacts in publishing and we both felt that there was a reasonably chance that he would write an article that would be fair and reasonable, though there is, of course, no guarantee of it.
Bart contacted several people here, as well as some who are not currently on the Archive, and has produced his article. In our most recent telephone conversation, he told me that the article focusses on four individuals, two of whom are regulars here. He says that it is respectful of the community.
The article will be in the March 2006 issue of Details magazine that is due on newsstands on about February 22. A thread related to the article should be started on Castration in the Arts, News, and Websites, where it will not be moderated and comments can appear instantly, rather than when I happen to be on the Archive to check the holding tank.
As far as I know, the magazine is distributed only in the U.S. and Canada. Archive members elsewhere can send me a Private Message, and I'll try to arrange for a copy for them. No guarantee, but I'll try.
