Sounds like you're in deep doo-doo, A-1.

The best free version of antivirus software I've found so far is from AVG. I install it on every computer that I sell from my shop, and recommend that the customer buy the subscription version if he or she is satisfied with the way the product performs. In all truth, the free version does everything the paid version does, but I see it as just good sense to support a company that puts out a good product.

This link will take you to the download page. Click the file "avg70free 344a618.exe" at the bottom.

I have to second that suggestion A-1. Grisoft offers wonderful free products and I have been using them for a couple of years now...

Are you really one to make that comment? :tongueout

What's important here is how quickly the "family" came to A-1's aid.

...oh,

it's Ok, Jesus...

IT's just Paolo...

...you know...he is an equal opportunity snide remarker...

Thanks again, everybody!

P.S., incidentally, I was able to take care of the problem by bringing upi my computer in safe mode and running the virus elimiator program. Then, I was allowed to delete the viruses. It seems that they attach theselves to the restor part of the computer's registry or something to that nature...

Hallo A-1,

Good luck!

HM.
