Becoming A Woman

All right, I guess it's time to copy Phil and Terri's idea and start a little diary of my own :)

I'll start things off with an update on where I am now. As most of us know I've already been cut and am on estrogen. At 3 months of estrogen I have budding breasts and some noticeable mood changes. My face also seems to be a tad softer and the scalp hair a tad thicker. That dead, ugly dark color in front is starting to fade to match the rest of my hair.

I can only hope for more not only physical but mental and emotional changes as well as my transition progresses. I'm sure it will be an exciting journey, and now everyone will have the opportunity to follow it :)

Alyssa,

Wonderful! Been an avid reader of Phillip's thread, and have enjoyed having a place to pour out my own thoughts (especially during those mood swings!).

We all will enjoy keeping up with your progress, and wish you success/happiness.

That said, time for me to vanish from your thread.

Terri

In a way I envy you. Not that I want to switch genders but your are REALLY going where no man has gone before! *Star Trek Reference.

I've heard you will have increased color perception as well as being able to distinguish more smells. Have a "Female" sex drive and orgasm. Just be sure you write it down before it all becomes just "normal"!

BTW without getting to intimate what hormones are you using?

There is nothing like the peace that comes from becoming your true self. All the best in your journey to reinvent yourself.

Well, the other day was my first time in public as Alyssa! I was sooooooooooooo scared, and I'm sure I was clocked quite a bit with the stares I got, but I'm still glad I did it! It's given me the confidence to do it again, and I will be mostly full-time when I go to see my Princess later this week. Then of course my real full-time date is coming soon. Prolly Nov 1st or so.

I'm taking 4 mg estrace, and pretty soon I should be adding 100 mg prometrium. Eventually I plan to go up to 6-8 mg estrace and 200 mg prometrium.

Alyssa,

Wow -- quite an experience. But help me out: what does 'clocked' mean?

it means someone "knew" that you were not a genetic woman. Noticably different in a crowd of people.

Hey Alyssa, you oughta keep a photo album of your transition as well. It certainly helps you in your down moments. You can look at who you were, and say, WOW!!! There WAS change. Sure, you're not as pretty as the girls on the magazines, but you're a HELL of a lot prettier than where you started! A photo album has done wonders for my confidence. It shows progression, which reassures you that you're moving forward.

~ hug ~

Love ya! See you at my place tommorrow!!!

EEEEEEEEEEE! Sorry, can't stop squealing :) Today, for the very first time, I was ma'amed and she'd by two different people in two different places! EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! I was fully en drab and not even trying to be Alyssa. The only thing was I had my boy jacket on, which covered my boy shirt. That's the only thing I can think of that made a difference. EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
