[2003] C.U.T, by Shortie

Post by Karisma (imported) »

Don't ask me how or why but this thought (or rather concept) entered my mind on this day (due to something I had read in the news) but I sort of liked it(alot), I started pondering and liked it even more (the scenarios in me head) so I began googling the archive for it and I found something which came pretty close.

It's not entirely in sync with what went on in my own head but it was pretty damn close (I didn't think of the whole regrowing-limbs-part lol, or the mistress-bit).

Not sure what else to write, not good at this whole commenting stories thing, but felt I should since it felt as such a coincidence that someone had already thought of it (almost).

But I deeply enjoyed the reading, I doubt you have any plans on writing a sequal since it was so long ago but know that I enjoyed this one very much (and most likley any of simuilar themes if you've written any, gonna check that out later).

Thanks mate!!! (that's for you Shortie).

Thanks for your kind words, Karisma. I have passed them along to my wife, Sharon, who is the author of "C.U.T.," as well as nearly all the other stories posted here under my username.

To understand her motivation for coming up with that story plot, you don't need to look any further than my avatar. Sharon was immediately fascinated by my Headless Horseman, and became even more so when she at last forced me to tell her the true story of how it came to be. She said over and over, "Damn! I wish there were some way to re-grow the thing so I could cut it off myself!" 😄

I guess she never did think of anything that would work, but when she brought the story to me for editing and posting here, I knew the topic was still on her mind. As to why it was set in the future, I have no idea. That may have come from a suggestion from one of her readers, but if so she never told me about it. Guess it's just the product of her fertile imagination. 💡

Thanks again for your comments.

If I had thought you'd reply so quickly (and if my eyes having been in less pain from too little sleep) I would have put on a little extra in the ways of credit and kind words. I figured noone would even read this but that I owed it to write something when I actually like something(or for some reason feel 'extra' for it) instead of closing the window and never speak of it again (I tend to do that often).

LOL, I must be nuts (no pun intended), but I often have a hard time imagining a female writing about these things *cheeks takes on a shade of red*, but that's very cool!

I see now what you mean -- always kinda figured the avatar was photo edited!, the concept of regrowth is a very facinating one though, just speaking about experiences in general. If one could try out new things and be able to know that if I injure my arm or whatever it won't be permanent. That way one could seek out new experiences more freely, though i'm not sure what that freedom would lead to in the bigger picture (recklessness?).

I can't quote anything since I read it a few hours ago but I remember liking the fact that there was science(and somewhat clinic'ish) involved, I always enjoy that. And including stem-cells into the whole thing (explaination) was a nice touch of realism :)

I'm of to bed for the night but you should definently tell her to write a sequal! :P -- i'm not sure if there's any material for one, but still.

Thanks again, Karisma, for your comments. Sharon has read them also, and sends her thanks, as well as a great big hug. 🙏

You were right to think my avatar is an edited photograph. As I've mentioned in the past here on the Message Board, my own dick has a very distinctive birthmark on it, and anyone who was in high-school gym classes with me would instantly recognize it. Therefore, we'd never let it be seen in a photograph. When Sharon said she wanted me to use an avatar that was realistic-looking, I spent several hours browsing the Internet for a suitable "replacement." After I had edited the photo, then printed it in 8x10, Sharon held it beside my Headless Horseman. She said it was identical, except for the pubic hair (I'm required to remain smooth at all times) and the lack of a birthmark.

Sharon says she has no interest in writing a sequel to "C.U.T." at this time. May happen in the future, though. When her Muse strikes, no one dares to stand between her and her keyboard. 😄

OK Shortie, i'm sure you've told the story before...but are you actually missing your cockhead...and if so...let's hear the story, if you can tell it.

As lots of the EA members already know, the story is posted under my username, with the title, "My Headless Horseman." I tried to make it as accurate as possible, at Sharon's insistence, but I'm sure there are some inaccuracies. You see, I was well beyond inebriated at the time it happened, and my memory can't be trusted. As an example, I had always thought that a steak knife had been used on me, but in my recurring nightmare about the incident, I clearly saw, a few months ago, that it was actually a black-handled butcher knife. The overall gist of the story is factual, though. At least, as much so as I can make it.
