There shouldn't be so much weight gain if you maintain a rigourous exercise regimen. I've lost over 25#s in the last 6 years, ~15#s of it since castration. But when I say rigourous, I mean just that. 30 minutes at the gym and a run around the block doesn't cut it.

Given a heart problem, be careful with the diet and exercise. Talk to your doctor about weight gain concerns. Any heart doc should realize that too much weight is bad and have a plan.

Paolo's right :) You gotta talk to the doc about diet and exercise to make sure your heart stays healthy.

I have no idea what this weight gain I hear so much about is because since my castration several months ago, I have lost weight. Not much, but enough to make me feel I'm making progress (I'm trying to get to 120 - I'm only a few pounds away at 123 :D)

I'm also taking female hormones, and you'd think I might gain some weight there, but no. I continue to lose it. Some of it could be because I'm a college student living in the dorms and perhaps you know what kind of diet that would mean :)

I seem to be in a minority though because from what I hear most people gain some weight without the right diet and exercise. Just be careful sweetie. You just got here, and I'm sure everyone wants you to stick around for a long time :)

Hi Apriolannette,

I got castrated 16 years ago and gained approx. 50 lbs. Since I was very skinny before my castration I was very happy of this weight gain. My experience is a lot more fat on the tights and the butt and lesser on the breast.

I agree with the weight problem in the thighs and butt. I think it is the feminizing of the body. I have not had much breast development. I was 41 when I was catrated and I think age and the drop in testosterone both contributed to my weight gain.
