I´m a bit confused. You often can read that chemical castration is reversible. But you also can read that after a few month it´s not reversible. Can anybody tell me what´s the truth?

After like 6 months, it becomes less and less reversable... or so I have heard. Never heard of someone who quit...

In general, the anecdotal evidence around here is that after a number of months the chemical castration drugs tend to have an accumulating effect of causing permanent castration, or at least causing a significant reduction in testosterone output after cessation of the drugs. I am not aware of any conclusive studies of a more scientific nature which would verify or refute this. Perhaps someone with better research resources could answer more definitively.

I believe (if memory serves me) that the ability of the testes to produce sperm and testosterone go down the longer they are set to the Don't Produce state. Atrophy is probably the best discription.

Men under HRT for various periods take longer to get back to their original state the longer they stay on HRT and if they are on it long enough don't have anything to come back with.
