I think Bush is to the point where "The death of one is a tradgedy. The death of a million is just a statistic" -Josef Stalin
2,819 killed in 9/11 attacks

234 KIA (to include 3 of my friends), 702 Wounded in Afghanistan (dozens of my friends)-

1,895 KIA, 18,219 Wounded in Iraq (dozens more of my friends) -
http://www.globalsecurity.org/military/ ... alties.htm
TOTAL IRAQ / AFGHANISTAN CASUALTIES (to include non-combatants):
69,364 Killed, 175,222 Seriously Injured
http://www.unknownnews.net/casualties.html
423 Officially accounted for in Louisiana
http://sacunion.com/pages/nation/articles/6162
Grand total... (which keeps steadily rising)
72,606 Killed, 175,222 Wounded...
How many could the Bush Administration have prevented? Not all obviously, but alot, I should think. Remember, these figures are OPTOMISTIC, and far lower than the reality we face today. It does not include those wounded in the 9/11 attacks, the Afghani / Iraqi civilians we found dead and never reported (half the time we didn't bother), those who are sick and injured from Katrina, or the OVERWHELMING number of unconfirmed dead floating around New Orleans.
Thank you Dubya! You really improved things here in the good ole U.S. of fuckin' A.
