Molester Agrees to Sex Change, Castration
Worcester. Convicted child molester and transsexual Sandy Jo Battista has offered to have a sex-change operation and castrate himself to assure the court that he will not commit another sex offense if released, WHDH-TV reported.
In 1983, Battista was sentenced to 12 to 20 years in state prison after pleading guilty to abducting and raping a 10-year-old girl selling fudge.
Battista completed his prison sentence in July, but prosecutors have asked that he be committed to Bridgewater State Hospital.
A psychologist testified Tuesday that Battista is still dangerous.
A judge also ordered Battista to wear a suit to court after Battista asked to dress as movie start Marilyn Monroe.
My comments:
1) A sex-change is hardly a punishment for a "transsexual."
2) A castration comes with a sex-change, so who is "he" fooling?
3) Battista gives transsexuals a bad image.
4) He should have been castrated to begin with.
Love,
Kelly

That's sad!
First that the courts should even consider sex change as a punishment, and second that someone who would commit such a crime would get the attention of the media.
I stand with Kelly, this monster gives transsexuals a bad name.

Sandy-Jo could have received LIFE for what she did but pleaded guilty in order to get 15 to 20 years. While "she" was inside, "she" received 60 violations, including pasting pictures of children inside of "her" footlocker. I made the mistake of trying to help "her" in the past and "she" told me a number of times that "she" had changed but "she'll" never change. "She" even asked me to send "her" hormones while in prison! Don't be taken in by her!

If this person is really a woman inside why was "he" raping a 10-year-old girl? Sounds like a guy with a fetish ...

Love,
Kelly(1) If he was really a woman would he rape a 10 year old girl or anybody?
(4) Both castration and penectomy should be mandatory for a male rapist. However, what would be a comparable punishment for a female rapist or child molleater?

Pedophilia is found almost exclusively in men, but it has been known to exist in a few women, so the possibility of this person being both pedophile and transsexual cannot be ruled out.
But I do agree that this is exactly why society looks down on transsexuals.

Pedophilia is NOT almost exclusive to men. It merely goes vastly underreported for women, due largely to gender stereotypes that claim that women are incapable of such crimes, and an unconscionable tendency of many people to view the young male victim as having "gotten lucky". The spate of recent incidents involving female teachers and male students are only just beginning to expose the truth of the situation. That does not say that women are equally likely as men to be pedophiles; we don't have enough honest evidence yet. But it does say that the "almost exclusively" reference is untrue.
