I thought this research report was particularly interesting, especially to those of us who believe that sexual preferences are inborn, rather than fostered by external influences.

Thanks for the link, shortie. Quite a study! Thinking of myself as a ram who prefers other rams is really quite a blast, I must admit. Glad they weren't studying pigs or something like that.

Excellent link. Thanks. I found the 8% number interesting. While several writers re human sexuality have found socialization to be a factor, they nevertheless don't entirely disagree on the genetic connexion. I've always thought the estimates for homosexuality of 4% amongst humans to be a bit small.

4%? FOUR PER-CENT?!? No freakin way!
More like 1/4!
Seriously. The numbers (last I heard) were 24-28% of the (US anyway) population being homosexual, or in a homosexual relationship.
Transgenders (people that live full-time, whether transitioning or not(not weekend nancyboys)) are 4%.
