I have an important question for those that have gone through sugrical castration:

Post castration, how has the size of your penis been affected, and how many are capable of erections, orgasm, or having sex or enjoying sex?

My concerns are that I have a partner whom I hope to spend the majority of my life with. I am fairly young, and am content with the size of my penis and the quality of our sex life.

I am interested in knowing if any eunuchs have maintained size by any reasonable standards, or if not, how much shrinkage one can expect on average.

Also, I know the desire for sex is mnimal if not nonexistent, but for those with partners or sexual experiences post-op, I ask how their experiences were.

Truly what I am considering is castration. However, sex is a very sensual, closeness that is important to our relationship and I don't see a future for us if I become impotent.

Also, does viagra and creams aimed at impotent men work for eunuchs?

That seems like such a mechanical, unappealing way to have a sex-life, but if it came down to it... it'd be a nice option to have.

Don't take this comment as being rude, but I am going to be rude and ask, "What the hell you thinking about?"

Castration is for those who don't want a sex life. You on the other hand, want a sex life. This procedure makes no sense for you! My boy, you will hate your life once castrated and trying to continue your relationship with your partner will be futile.

Without testosterone coursing your veins, sex, erections and climax become nonexistant. Chemical changes in your body and brain cause chaos. Relationships become stressed. Still want castration?

When it comes to penis size shrinkage, it will happen. Size depends on your current penis size. If its quite large then shrinkage might not look to bad. If you're a small penis guy, then your tiny penis will look so small it will become irrelevent. Your partner will laugh at you and show no compassion for such a tiny penis. Are you sure you want castration?

Now you didn't state a reason for castration. What is your motivation for such a dramatic change in mental and physical build?

Not all that are castrated plan on giving up sex.

Some just want to control it better. I was castrated on June 18th, and I can and will continue to have sex and erections. There is this nice harmone called testosterone.

I do 100mg/week IM injection. with that I had no need for my testicles so I removed em and replaced em with very nice size implants.

In my personal experience...

Without hormones or with only infrequent dosages (once every week or so) my flacid penis became generally softer and softer. Erections, when obtained (with much work), still remained around the same apparent size as when intact (but were hard to maintain for long). With low dosages of androgel (once every 3-5 days or whenever id remember if I was distracted) I regained some more meatiness to it when flacid. Returning to a full dose (packet a day) returned with it normal sizes both flacid and erect.

This was after a period of only about 4 months after castration with no hormones at all. During that time I was for the most part impotent and could only maintain a very weak erection with a good deal of effort (no spontainous erections at all). 3 months after my castration I had chance to try some viagra and it did indeed work. Not sure how much better it might have worked had I been on HRT, but it worked well enough to get the job done.

If/when you are surgically castrated you could perhaps experiement with different low dosages of hormones via gel or patch that might be good enough to keep some sex intrest generated or responsive to advances from your partner, but not so much as to be overbearing and all consuming (as I know how testicles and even too much HRT can do). Daily/semi-daily doses of HRT also allow you some more fine control of dialing up or down your sex drive, although could also keep you in some degree of constant transitional side effects (of going on & off T all the time).

Lastly on a different topic.. At your age you still have a while you can go with non-surgical experiments. There can be a lot of things going on in those years (I'm still around em) that are going through your head and you want to sure that the one about castration is one you really want. You've (hopefully) got a long life left and dont want to spend it all regretting anything you do now. Conversly, you have all the longer to possibly enjoy being free from the shackles of testosterone overload too.

the 100mg/Week IM keeps me at the top end of the normal range for testosterone. I was misserable with low T, don't understand how people can deal with it. I suppose most here don't understand how I can deal with High T. That is what makes the world interesting I suppose.

I go in on Aug 8th for my first blood work post castration, I suspect my guys were not doing much since I had been on the shots for about a year. I do not feel any different hormone wise and I suspect the numbers will be close to the same. If not I can always up my dose My Dr. is good about letting me self medicate as long as I have the research behind it.

Your mileage may vary, but I found orgasms to be much more intense post castration, and so far no noticeable change in cum still thick and milky white and volume about the same.

For me the time was right, I was ready both mentally and physically. I had done my home work so that it would have minimal impact on me hormone wise. healing is mostly through and today is 1 month exactally. The sac is starting to loosen up and let my new guys hang better. All in all I am very pleased with taking the action to shape my body as I needed it to be.

I was castrated 5 years ago and with HRT (~5mg AndroGel daily) maintain a totally normal sex life. My cock actually grew 1" following the assumption of a testosterone regime, possibly in response to considerably heightened testosterone levels. The only difference pre- and post-op is the absence of testicles.

But you should ask yourself, 'Why?', especially at your age. Many modern eunuchs had the surgery in response to testicular problems. I was 2 years older than you when a urologist suggested that I consider castration. My package was very tight. He diagnosed it as a congenital defect that had resulted in shortened or non-existent cords that attach the testicles to the body. He said I'd be having more and more problems as a result (infections). I'm very glad I left his office as fast as my legs would carry me. OTOH, he turned out to be correct, and while I gladly had my balls harvested ~5 years ago, I had their use for another 30 years, at which time I was seriously hypogonadic. Think seriously about it before being castrated.

The range of the test from Quest for total testosterone is 260-1000.

When I was tested in March 04, my T level was 212. Combination of stress from work and who know what else.

I started on androgel is April 04. 5g/day. it worked for about a month then I had to up my does to 10g/day (5 in the AM, 5 in the PM). It worked but was anoying. Kept my levels in the 900 range.

In August 04 I added hcG (not growth hormone) Human Chorionic Gonadatropin. This stimulates the testicles to make testosterone, the results is it helps to reverse the atrophy from them being shut down. When you take testosterone your natural production slows or stops and your testicles shrink. hcG helps reverse this shrinkage.

In Nov 04 I switched from the Gel to the injections. I do them myself every sunday. .5ml in my leg. Once a week vs. 2x a day I like it much better.

My levels are maintaining in the 900-1100 range.

All through this process I did research. Since I do not have plans for kids, and I was already on testosterone, my testicles were mainly for show and to torture.

I have had an interest in castration since I was about 8, in my fantasies I was the one doing the castrating vs. the one getting castrated.

After over a year of intense research and questioning myself. Talking things over with my Primary Dr. a shrink and a urologist. On June 18th, the day before father's day btw, I with the help of a trained friend castrated myself and installed the implants.

I got rid of alot of mental bagage at the same time I cut the cords on to my testicles. I am much happier without em.

I had considered doing this in 04 before trying the hcG. I am very glad I waited and at least gave the hcG a chance. The year I spent researching was well worth it. I have no regrets.

Would I do it again if I could go back to June 17th. Yes.

Would I do anything different. Yes. I went back to work on the 20th, I really should have stayed put for a few more days. The jury is still out, but I may have gone too large so I may downsize next year. 3.5"x1.75"x2" the next size down is 2.75"x1.75"x2". Time will tell, gravity works wonders.
