Sex without T

If a man is chemically (or physically) castrated, it is possible to occasionaly have normal sex with his wife.

I understand that Viagra does NOT work in that situation.

What about Caverject http://www.caverject.com/ which is injected into penis and work very quickly.

I have used it before Viagra came out, but now I am taking Depo Provera and my T level seems to be droping like a rock.

I'm no expert on the subject of sexual relations with the wife... as I don't partake in dipping the stick in honey.

My experience though tells me without testosterone coursing your veins, sex with the wife would be robotic and not interesting. The mind would not be in the mood, ever. The physical nature of an erection could occur to facilitate intercourse. The only question: who wants it without testosterone or testosterone substitute?

I had low Testosterone so my answer is only my two cents worth. When I had low T I was happy to perform oral sex on my wife to please her and once in a while had sex for the good feeling it gave me. But we are talking about once a month or less. Sex was an abstract concept without testosterone. With it? Whew!

🚬 I suppose you could take a testosterone shot when you want sex, or maybe the patch would work. Just remove it after you are done.

How well does the patch work I wonder and what do you need to take to keep yopur hormones up close as before.

A lot of Dr's do not understand I do not think!

🚬 The testosterone patch is for men who make little to no testosterone themselves. It slowly releases a low, controlled dosage through the skin.

HRT takes days (in my case) to improve mood and energy. Sex drive takes even longer. And from what I read this lengh of time get larger as the time stuck at low T goes on. So don't expect to slap on Androgel in the morning and start feeling like a Horny Man by evening!

This varies with the man and how long his levels have been at whatever they are but. If you get up to 300 you are still pretty low by the standards they use since 2002. In fact that would be in the time to start treatment zone for Hypogonadism. One packet for me put me right at 300. Which for me was not good at all.

Do get re-checked after about 2 weeks of disiplined HRT and discribe all your symptoms to the doc. Last I want to say that when I was in the low hormone zone I could imagine sex. Understand it was "nice" but had no specific motivation to do it. If my wife initiated it and I couldn't think of an excuse to avoid it we mostly "did" her. When I climaxed it was "nice" but nothing to write home about. When I have middle of the range Testosterone Levels my interest in sex goes from an abstract thought to a real drive. And the climaxes are very very strong.

Some may find 2.5 to 5.0 mg of the androderm patches work well and provide a good hormone balance.

Wonder how you decide how to give HRT and what dose should be used?

The Refrence range is so big.

Many Dr's will say 238 ng.dl is good if it is in the refrence range.

It is hard trying to get help for this type of thing unless you have a good Dr or medical system.

Medicaid is hard to get need SSI SSID. Need to be fully disabled 100%.

It is hard trying to do things and get them done with the system we have unless you have insurance or good money I have learned.

I wonder what a person should do to get more help?
