Doctor is reporting Kimmel

I went to the urologist today, and I probably shouldn't have mentioned Kimmel when he asked because the urologist said he is going to report him :(

He wasn't the nicest doctor in the world and I thought I should just cooperate with him because he had already made it clear he was under no obligation to treat me.

Obviously I'm not feeling very good right now because the only person who was willing to help me could be in a lot of trouble because of me. And what about everyone else? What if Kimmel can't or won't do castrations anymore? So many people would be left without safe access to something that they really want and even need.

Kimmel told me that the AMA knows what he is doing and has no problem with it. That was probably a lie, wasn't it?

I guess all we can do is wait to see what happens. Hopefully this doesn't turn into a big thing. I was wondering if I should call Kimmel and let him know so he has time to prepare. Should I?

Does anyone know if this has ever happened before and if I'm just worried over nothing because it's something that happens all the time? The worst thing is all of this was for nothing because according to the urologist the other doctors were wrong and there is no infection. I just had the sutures removed and was told to ignore the prescription for the new antibiotics.

Due to this the Dr's license may be suspended then more people will have to do it the more dangerous way.

This is not a good thing for may people.

A person should never render this information.

I'm sure Kimmel has had more than one complaint filed against him. After all he is doing what the mainstream of doctors won't do and I'm sure there are many opposed to that. Spector had the same problem until it got to a point where he was doing sloppy work near the end when they pulled his license.

That urologist you seen today sounds like he needs to be reported. An he DOES have an obligation to treat you, no matter who did the original surgery. You are paying for his services.

I did it because at the time I was convinced by two other doctors that I had a serious infection. But yes, it was a serious mistake, and I am very much regretful. Right now I have someone telling me what a terrible person I am, and he is right. I really screwed things up for a lot of people, and I could even be responsible for people's deaths because of this. I would understand if everyone would like me to leave. Would that be best?

Plix,

Calm down. There have been people out to get Kimmel before, making improper moral judgements about him and his work. They're no more likely to succeed this time, if they try. Should a California doctor actually file a report with the Pennsylvania state board, there's a real question as to whether or not Pennsylvania would do anything without a patient complaint from you as well.

You are a new and valued member of this board. We look forward to having you as part of the group.

Jesus

:) ;) Excuse me! But isn't this called elective surgery. I can't understand what the problem is. I have a friend that at 25 had all his teeth pulled out. So to some this would be horrible but he didn't want any more cavities. It would seem to be a personal decision and up to the individual. We are free moral agents and others should mind there own business.Hugs Dear,Leona 👥 👯

You need to find better medical help. Try contacting your local gay/lesbian centre for a referral. That's how I found my current MD.

Why did you do that?

Probably because the first response to the question, "Who was your Doctor?" is to answer "Dr. so-and-so" without thinking about it.

Your comment towards Plix is out of line, shallow of thought, and pretty much downright rude.

Were you here in person, you'd have my fist down your throat right now.
