Eunuch Calm

Post by Tom Carpenter (imported) »

It has been almost 10 months now since my surgery. I'd like to preface my post by saying, "I have no regrets about my choice to become a Eunuch."

The first six months was the hardest I think. So many mental anomolies, then the hot flashes...I could write for days about those things. Suffice it to say, the hot flashes could but any menopausal woman's to shame.

At six months I tried low dose testosterone therapy with the androgel pump. I decided to stop after about 6 weeks because the agression came back and so did my sexual prowess.

I have not been able to loose weight for about 6 years now, I don't know why but I can never get below 200 lbs. I am now at 220 and I think the extra is located between my collar bone and pelvic bone in the form of a 1/2 " layer of fat just under the skin. I don't think it's going anywhere anytime soon.

I guess my current issue, besides waiting for my men's girdle to show up; is I'm finding it hard to get interested in anything. I do not feel sad or blue, I just can't seem to get motivated to do anything. So...I'm wondering if this is part of my Eunuch calm and I'm just going to have to apply more "self" motivation?

I don't know how to get the energy that testosterone gives.

Thanks,

Tom

Tom,

That is not the calm you speak of... you are experiencing the mental changes that affect most guys who cut off their nuts. I went through that phase as a Eunuch and continue to suffer from that affliction today. The chemical changes that took place and continue to take place caused the change in interest and lethargy. Hang in there buddy and keep us posted on your progress.

Thanks Robby, the last time my testo level was checked it was 21. Can you tell me some of the other changes you have gone through? I'd like to think that I'll be done with most of the changes in about another year...do you think this is unrealistic?...of course, I realize everyone is different, but generally speaking or are there ongoing changes that never stop?

I do take Paxil and Effexor the latter is to help control the hot flashes.

Thanks,

Tom 🚬
