How much is enough and how soon does it work?

Last year I went to a doctor and explained my issues. He gave me a prescription for Depo Provera.

I tried Depo Provera (150 mg) twice (one month apart). THe DR's nurse did the injections.

The Dr only gave me a prescription for two in order to test it.

I did not notice ANY changes. I was very disapointed.

My intent was to reduce an excessive libido that has become a significant problem.

My normal T level is about 800 which is not terribly high. I hoped to get it down to 100 or less.

With the two injections the T level came down to 180.

Articles on the net about Depo Provera for men say to use as much as 300 MG per week and some even say much more.

Could someome please offer information on dose level and frequency?

Also what are realistic effects to expect and how soon would they be noticable?

I had thought of trying 150 MG injection once every two weeks, but I have no idea is that is enough.

Should I go to weekly 150 MG? When you go to 300 MG per week, the cost simply gets too high.

I was on depo provera for two years befor my surgery and it seamed the longer i was on it the better it worked.I was given 150mil once a month by my doctors nurse but i did find that 1.25 premarin helped lower my libido even more.But always remember that everyone is diffrent so what worked for me may not work for you.

It does build up in your system so keep taking 150mgs. a month & watch your libido slowly melt away.
