I found this at ChemicalCastration@yahoogroups.com

what do you guys think of it. 💥 🍑👋

Drinking 16 ounces or more a day of 100% pomegranate juice greatly

reduces or completely eliminates sex drive in many men. It will take 3

to 5 days to take effect. Onset will be sudden and pronounced.

Erection will be difficult if not impossible. Ejaculation, if possible

will be weak and of low volume. Effects take about 3 days to clear

once you stop drinking the juice. No side affects other than loose

stool to begin with, as with consuming a large quantity of any fruit

juice.

Pomegranate juice has a sweet, funky taste. Not something I would

drink for a beverage but not terrible, either. It's available in most

health-food markets. In the US the Knudsen brand of juices is readily

available and of good quality. Buy only the 100% type with no

additives, fillers, or processing like filtering.

That's really interesting. My wife has been buying a brand called POM lately. I've noticed that I've had less sex drive and trouble getting erect and ejaculating. I''m going to quit drinking it and see if that fixes my problems. I have damaged nuts and have always had trouble anyway, so all it takes is a little push to mess things up.

Thanks for the info

Interesting! Had I heard this prior to being castrated, I would have tried it. Besides staining everything with which it comes in contact, pomegranate juice certainly has a powerful metallic-acidic taste.

However, just a quick warning to anyone who is using spironolactone, aldactone or related anti-androgens; adding pomegranate juice to your regimen may be dangerous.

Pomegranate juice is very high in potassium, as are some other fruit juices. The above named diurectics allow the body to retain potassium, magnesium and a few other minerals and electrolytes while flushing out sodium and water. Continued consumption of pomegranate juice in this situation could lead to dangerous blood levels of potassium. Severe muscle cramps are one of the first signs of problems, next comes tachychardia (irregular and rapid heart beat), and the end result may be sudden cardiac arrest. OUCH!

I was drinking yerba mate, a common herbal beverage from South America, which contains a lot of potassium. For me the build up was slower, but I ended up with problems like the above. As soon as I stopped drinking mate, the problems vanished.
