A combination of chance. There are also many eunuchs who don't develop breast tissue at all. Although the prevalence towards breasts is porbably more common, several factors, such as adrenal gland secretion and fat tissue secretion of estrogens play a role. I believe overweight, as well as musculous eunuchs has the highest chance acquiring breasts. Fat cells are capable of producing large amounts of estrogens, so much so that fat post-menopausal women continue having menstrual bleeings long after climacterium. Staying slim and off phytoestrogens (such as soya), might be preventive.

The true question is : are the breasts really prominent at the point where people are turned over to see you and say : "oh a eunuch" ?

or is discrete ones ?

I'm on sitron and my friends and relatives have told me I need a bra. I'm 6 ,200 and ashamed to go in the pool now. So stopped the drug and the weight dropped off fast. But I like being castrated and went back on it. The breast are growing again. So is the weight gain.

I began taking anti-androgens (Siterone, Androcur) around 4 months ago. It's doing its job, and I unable to achieve more than a semi-soft erection, and cannot orgasm. Noticed 2 months ago that i was getting some slight breast growth as my testosterone level became smaller. I have no desire to feminize myself. Began using Tamoxifen, 20 mg/2Xdaily. Have not seen any further breast growth so i guess it works as advertised.

I've been using a GnRH agonist - Triptorelin - since June. No breast growth so far, as advertized: it's very expensive but kills off both androgens and oestrogens.

I just started taking Siterone/Androcur a week ago so am really new to this. After you took Tamoxifen did the breast enlargement you experienced go down in size (back to a normal male chest, areolas and tits/nipples) or did further enlargement just stop.

Once breast tissue grows the only way to get rid of it is through surgery, gaining and losing weight (fat) might change the appearance of size slightly but it's never going to go away on it's own.

Breast growth can happen very fast for some and others can take years. Once you nipples start getting sensitive breast growth is starting or restarting

There are two types of gynecomastia (breast growth in men) fat which will go away, or development of the breast which will NOT go away. Growth of nipples, Areola and Breast Milk Glands will not go away but by surgery. note: enlargement of the areola by stretching may go away after wieght loss.

Note for me once I had some breast growth they became and erogenous zone.
