For a few days, I have not taken Lexapro because I ran short of change to pay for it. I woke yesterday morning during the middle of the most intense orgasm I can remember in many years--well, really the only one that I can recall. It felt wonderful. I had almost forgotten that old men can experience sexual bliss.

Lexipro, wellbrutin, paxil, etc etc....the antidepressant meds usually have a very big impact upon lessening libido. Take it from me. I know. And watch those suckers...you can't quit cold turkey! Also these meds affect people differently. Not everyone has the same side effects. But I would judge the libido lessening is true at least 75 per cent of the time.

There are horrow stories about all of these drugs. All you have to do is type in the name and sit back and read. The stories are bad enough to scare the bejabbers out of you. But not every drug has the same reactions. What might work for you cause all hell to break loose for me. But on the whole they educe libido. It's a trade off and sometimes not a good one.

Wellbutrin prescribed at the recommended dose is probably more medication than is needed to produce the desired anti-depressant function.
It is indeed a drug that can restore sexual drive, provided that the only problem in the way of said drive was clinical depression.

Someone who had been an army medic a long while ago, told me that, after an individual takes sulfa drugs, it becomes difficult or impossible for the person to get an erection. I presume that was from his own experience, or from experiences of the wounded soldiers he treated.

I don't know about that.
Sulfa-based Anti-biotics, usually injectable, used to be the standard treatment for tonsillitis.
As for me, it ain't as hard as it once was, but usually, say once a day or so. it gets as hard as it ever was...
I had chronic tonsillitis and lots of strep infections until I reached puberty. After that, I think that cunt juice cured me.
