I realey dont think you killed it but this is not a safe practice eather you could get an infection that would be hard to explane to your doctor. Why do we do thies things to ourselvs i realey cant explain it but belive me i have been their and done that so i know what i am saying.I just want you to be careful of what you are doing and try to think things through befor you hert yourself.

Dear Gregw,

Stop doing it.

Ether you want your nuts or you don't. If you want them don't torture yourself for sexual pleasure by piercing them. This is not a true form of Munchausen's syndrome, but it may be psychotic behavior.

If you do not want them then take positive steps to affirm that is indeed what you want and find a way to get them medically removed.

In the mean time you need an anti-depressant.

Seriously, please, take better care of yourself.

MY best guess would be that it's not dead. Keeping that in mind watch carefully; there is no way of knowing just what damage was done this time. Testicles are very tough but most damage to them has the potential to cause pain WAY out of proportion to the actual injury. Of course all the cautions that are usually heard on these boards apply to this as they do to any do-it-yourself work. --FLO--

I don't see this suggestion in any of the other replies, but I think it's good advice to go to a medical professional who can evaluate the condition of your testis, if the pain and swelling continue. If you do have an infection, the sooner it is dealt with, the better. You don't have to tell him what the circumstances were, in which you pierced the testis.

A good friend has done this more times than y'a want t' know. I think your nut's fine. Y'a can stick lots o' needles in it many times. Just be careful to use sterile techniques, which I'm sure y'a are. Infection's your worst enemy. Take care. If you really wnat them gone, I think y'a know the route.

I have experimented in the past with needles also more than you want to know. Sometimes they seem to pass through the testicle and don't hurt anything then some times they swell up a lot and hurt for a few days. Ice packs help in that case before and after. I've never had an infection since I keep things clean with iodine and 99 percent alcohol. I see that this activity could be bad for you so I don't do it any more.

Since I used to do this a lot before my castration I'll guess I'll speak up.

Sterile technique:

Best to buy sterile hypodermic needles from places like www.bmeshop.com (sewing pins and needles while brand new are not sterile and may contain dirt, bacteria and viruses, cleaning with alcohol will remove and kill most things but not all bacteria and viruses can be killed by alcohol. Also plated needles can have the plating come off inside your body causing infection or irritation and scar tissue to encapsulate)

You should be fine with sewing pins and alcohol but safer with true sterile needles (I started out around age 13 with sewing pins then in college found BME and got hypodermic needles)

Alcohol, Iodine or other skin disinfectant should be used prior to piercing the skin. I use Techni-care before and after.

As far as I can tell the only damage is creating scar tissue and some adhesions which might make castration a little more difficult down the road (recommend definitely use a doctor instead of seeking other methods). I think the pain and swelling increases if you get closer to the cord or epididymis, at least that's an assumption on my part from my experience in the past.

I never had any problem with infection, but I always observed clean or sterile techniques.

Update & Warning

The above does not condone that someone should pierce their testicles, neither does it apply that it is 100% safe. The above is based on my experience and research on the subject. I'm only trying to provide him with the information and knowledge so if he continues he does so as safe as possible.

There are always risk involved with anything we choose to do, making an informed decision and trying to minimize risk is important.

Basically the only risk is infection, dealing with adhesions when you do get castrated and making balls function at lower levels if you pierce them a lot. Plus the pain associated with piercing them, the balls are fairly resilient organs.

Please remember this site is here to help people, you may not get into the same type of "kink" or interests. That's OK, just ignore it don't put someone down for it or tell them they need serious help to overcome the desire.

I think you should be ok!

Mabie casued some inflamation but if it hurts you did not kill it.

If you killed it it is numb and cant be felt.

That is not near enough to kill it.

Some do excesslive injections and so not kill their testicle.
