Breathing and Androcur

I recently stopped taking androcur, once the shipment comes in I'm switching to depo provera. That'll give enough time for the androcur to get out and for the depo provera to start working.

Anyhow, the point, the reason I stopped was because I was having breathing problems while on androcur. Has anyone else experienced this and if so, to what degree?

These few weeks without anytype of chemical castration drugs in me have been hard on me, it's been like going through high-speed puberty all over again and Im looking forward to getting depo provera in me which maybe won't have the side effects. (I took it once in the past and was fine on it)

one of the side effects of androcur is a feeling of breathlessness. this will vary from person to person. it was mild for me and went away in a few weeks. obviously, if you are not comfortable with androcur, going back to depo is a good idea.

Hi,

Yes I have noticed the same breathing problems especially when I am exerting myself or singing.

Breathing problems were slight when I was on androcur. I did suffer some lightheadness however. What made me go off it was that blood test showed that my prolactin level was becoming exceedingly high. The doctor felt there was a good chance that I would develop a tumor on my pitutary gland.

I had the same experience with androcur raising my prolactin level.

My Dr ran the prolactin test just as a precaution since I was on androcur and was shocked when it cam back over 100.

I have decided to drop taking it since it is also causing me to gain alot of weight.

Thats what Im on now... so far the side effects is that the drug itself, not the lack of testerone, is that it will make you tired.

I've been extremely tired since being on it, but I think it's due to the highs and lows of the shot. I'm still feeling this new drug out.

🚬 The only side effects I have experienced is pain at the injection site. However, I have been on it for over 2 years so I might not feel any others.

DP is an injectable suspention that blocks the manufacture of sex hormones.

Are sex hormones the same as testosterone ?
