Which Method is Best

I have done quite a bit of surfing and reading and frankly, I can not figure out which Orchiectomy method is better. The procedure where the testes are removed via the scrotum or from above.

It would seem from all the post etc that there are linger complications from the scrotum method: cord pulling back, cyist etc etc.

I have not found anything adverse on the other method. Just finding a doctor.

Also if anyone has pro-cons of using Burdizzo on humans. What little there is seems to indicate that it is the safest non-surgical procedure.

Thanks

Kelly

;) Hi Kelly! Well, we have all written a lot on this subject. I have not had it done, but if I did, I would do the upper cuts.#1 ;it seems to be less likely for infection. #2; it leaves the sack uncut that you will have virgin skin for future SRS surgery if you so desire. #3 ; it cost more. #4 ; it seems that when the operation is from the bottom, there seems a likelyhood of reattachment. This is very painful. Many will answer this post, I know many have in the past. It ends up your choice. I would recomend chemicals first. See how it works for you first. That's what I did and am transistioning back. This TS business is full of up's and downs. Very hurtful moments that have put some of us on the brink of suicide. Be very careful. Read consequences of castration on true stories.

Hugs, Leona 👥 👯

well spoken leona,I had the scrotal orchi done and now have the abdominal setup in 30 days to remove the cords left that attached themselves to the skin and each other.I'll keep you posted how things turn out.

The uroligist was understanding but couldn't see why I had it done in the first place.Take care,[twin] 😄

Thanks to Leona and bigtwin for their replys. I discovered the search capability and found the answer to the Burdizzo which is it does not work on humans.

Just for reference, I have been on Advarot/Dutas (sp) for almost a year. This reduces the conversion of DHT to 10% or less. Also 400 MG Sprio to take care of LH or generation of T to begin with. DHT hovers around 38 and I have not had a free serum T test recently.

I have discovered that I now control my life vs. the " little head". It is quite nice to be calm and not have erections all the time. I had talked to Dr. Kimmel and even had a date, but started to become concerned when I read all the latest here.
