Thanks to Kelly and Robby for their generous donations to the Archive. I am proud to tell you that the cost of the message board software has been covered and then some.

Any additional funds that come in will be held in an interest bearing account. I have spoken with Robby about the posibility of establishing a permanent trust fund overseen by independant trustees, the purpose of which would be to guarantee the perpetual existance of the Eunuch Archive.

If this idea is still feasable after we investigate the particulars of it then Robby will be passing more specific information along to you.

Bboy,

Had I not had trouble with paypal you would have had my donation before. Anyway, having found out what the problem is I shall still make the donation once things have been sorted out but this will take some time - effectively I have had to start a new account and cannot activate it until I get my next invoice from VISA.

I have often felt guilty in that I have had much pleasure from the stories of certain authors and have been learning much from the posts without being able to contribute very much.

As far as a trust goes, I don't care one way or the other. As far as I am concerned you could take the money and spend it on what you would like - you deserve it. Not, I should add, that the amount that I can send will be as much as you probably deserve.

Thank you and Paolo for the effort that you have put in.

LOL

Bboy,

May I suggest that in future you keep us posted, at least if the balance threatens to go negative? There is NO WAY you should have to pay out of your pocket for the honor of giving so many so much pleasure... and sometimes far more than mere pleasure!

I know we all hate to be asked for money, over and over and over. But a simple statement, perhaps once a month or so, stating simply that the Archive does or does not need money would not be out of order, at least in MY opinion.

We can't help if we don't know...
