No More Sex?

Just a question and a general poll for all those fabulous eunuchs out there:
Has anyone been able to have intercourse or acheive orgasm since their operation? Has this affected the love life of those who have life partners?
Also, just generally for anyone castrated? Happy with the decision or not? Obviously this is a permanent change, and it would be difficult to admit regret on such a choice, but I'm just curious how many of those who underwent surgery are truly happier with their lives now.

Mine is one of those stories posted by Jesus. And yes, sex, including orgasms, w/o balls can be almost the same as before their loss. Of course, it's less likely or not at all likely if one's ingesting anti-androgens.

At the simplist level, the answer to your question is that "Your Mileage WILL Vary". Among those whom I have interviewed, the results are more varied than I could have imagined.
You need to do as much research as possible and to be willing to accept whatever may happen before taking ANY irreversible step. Remember that there are even a few men who are unable to tolerate synthetic testosterone, so HRT with MALE hormones would be impossible. There are also some who are not able to tolerate FEMALE hormones.
I am convinced that there are some men for whom castration is clearly the right answer. They are far happier as a result. There are others for whom it would be (and has been) an absolute disaster. Do your homework. Read widely. Ask questions.
The members of the Eunuch Archive are among the kindest and most caring folk I have ever met. You will get help and answers here.

How true Jesus, I am one that could not be happer and the person who was with me has nothing but regret. (I know you know who I am talking about).
So, do your homework.

I am chemicaly castrated for over two years. I have not had an ejaculation in over a year. Have not come close to having one. Erections are no longer common. I like this feeling.

Being transgendered this may not really apply to me, but when I was on estrogen and anti-androgens previously (a failed transition attempt when I was 18) I almost totally lost my desire to initiate sex.........but had no problems enjoying it if my boyfriend started something. Maybe I couldn't get it up all the way, but the pleasure centers were all still intact and worked fine. I didn't have any problems with my missing sex drive; it sounds like something horrible, but when you actually lose it it becomes sort of a non-issue because it's not on your mind anymore. I'm being surgically done on Feb. 22nd, and I hope that the same applies now (I'm 24.)
