Is there a way to stop nocturnal erections?

Hello,
I would really appreciate some advice here before I see a doctor, just to get me in the right ballpark.
I suffer at night from too many hardons, or maybe that they are just too strong. I wake up constantly at night, well, with a very noticable erection so noticable that it keeps me from sleeping. It does not happen just once in a night but several times over and over... I feel like I am waking up every 30 mins!!! I have not slept thru a whole night in at least 5 years. I have even gone so far as to wrap myself with an ace bandage in hopes that it would keep me from getting hard, but that did not work, instead I woke up with pain AND a litttle bit of brusing.

Also my gf is bothered by this because if I am half asleep with a boner my natural tendancy is to start poking her even though I am not really sure what I am doing, it really pisses her off and I feel like an ass. During the daytime my sex drive is quite high as well, she and I really enjoyed that when first together but after 3 years of dating and living together, sex is not as common as it was, I am alway ready to go but she is not so I am not super concerned about maintaining my pornstar libido either, but my major concern is just to have ONE goods night rest!!
I would very much like to have either no erections at night, or weaker ones or something. From what I read nocturnal erections if lost can cause a bit of shrinkage, I am not worried about that AT ALL, I am far more concerned about sleeping for a whole 6 hours w/o waking up and waking up and waking up. I AM concerned about taking a medicine that will grow boobs on me, I am just a guy who would not look good with boobs.
If anyone can give me advice after reading my problem, I would be thankful. I am really big on suppliments for health, perhaps there is something to help me? I am open to medication as well.
I am 26, I run several miles a week, lift weights, eat very healthy diet... I am sure all this keeps my cardiovascular system in top notch shape which does not help me at night! I can't stop being in good shape though, I could not imagine that.
thanks in advance

Have you noticed any side effects? Would I still be able to create an erection when it is actually wanted?
Is this a pill, a shot, or how do you take it?
Also, how do I go about finding a good doctor for what I need? I don't have a clue what kind of doctor to see.

Shrink Me,
Nocturnal erections are normal. Try restricting your fluid intake for 4 hours and urinating before retiring for the night.
Masturbate more often. That way, you control the erections.
Good luck.

The side effects vary from person to person. Here's a page that describes what happens if you are surgically castrated; taking Androcur is chemical castration, although if you take a lower dosage then the effects will be lessened.

A pill.

Perhaps a urologist or endocrinologist. You can also buy Androcur from an overseas online pharmacy (see
http://www.annelawrence.com/internethormones.html for a list) although it's better if you can get a doctor who understands that you consider yourself to have a problem, and is willing to help you resolve it in the way you want.

I will definatly give it a go on restricting my fluid intake. That makes sense, erections are filled with blood, blood is a liquid, yeah, that makes sense.

Here I thought all that water I drink is good for me!!
I do not think I could possibly masturbate more, I am ashamed to say I sometimes get into the double digits in a day. *blushes*

Androcur is a drug that is use by doctors to cause all of the effects of real castration. All that I have found out is that there is no defference in effects between the drug and real castration as long as you are at the right levels of the drug.
I have been getting my androcur from
http://www.mastersmarketing.com/price_c2.htm for almost 2 years. I order cyprotetone acetate 50mg in the 168 pill group. Best deal. Very good service. I have not heard os any problems from others. Oders to the states are abiout a week to two weeks. Most orders come in 8 days for me.

Just goes to show that humans vary considerably. Never in my life, not even when I was a kid, was I able to masturbate in the double digits. I once had ten ogasms, but I was young, it was one of my first opportunities-the first night I ever spent with a girl-so I was particularly excited sexually (My first kid and my first marriage resulted from that night). You're ashamed. I'm jealous. I don't remember masturbating more than three, maybe four times, in a day, even when I was fourteen, young, horny, and couldn't get enough of it-or so I thought at the time.

Thanks very much for all the advice guys! I will do some research on all the links here and hopefully this will work out for me!
@Slammr, I guess the grass is always greener on the other side! It is cool sometimes, but sometimes its not... I mean, during the day its great, but waking up at night a lot of the time it wont go away until I masturbate till orgasm and its not always easy to do that if my mind does not want to, if just my body does... really just getting to a normal sleep cycle would be great. I have tried more than a few sleeping pills, drinking a lot of alcohol(alcohol is great in moderation, but its just not meant to make you sleep, lol, being sick is even worse than erection induced insomnia), smoking marijuana(yikes, that did not work at all!!! My girl loves that stuff but felt like I was going to die.), nothing has seemed to help... I would definatly trade 10x a day to 1x a day, or every few days if i were able to sleep thru the night in peace(the ONLY position I can fall asleep in is on my stomach which I am sure does not help..lol, I even thought of cutting a big hole in my bed but I just didnt want to risk ruining the mattress) Oddly I never had this problem fomr 14-21(14 was when I started masturbating), it started in the middle of being 21 when I started to really focus on getting into shape and adding running several miles each day to my weightlifting regime... the effects of cardio are no joke. The number one reason I do run though is not to stay in shape, its to keep my brain healthy and in top notch shape, its health is very much tied into your cardio shape...
Thanks again everyone!!

Gee, with an onset that fast and dramatic, you ought to ask your doctor about the problem and let him check it out.
Or maybe it's one of your supplements causing it. You can check that out easily by stopping them for a weeks or so.
