Just a week to go now to the big day (Jan 22nd) and I wanted to ask what sort of supplies I should go out and get. Of course, I know about things such as an ice pack, bandages, paper tape, etc. but what else? Any other items that are helpful post-surgically?
Thanks a lot!

Hey binky69--
Be prepared to get hit by feelings of depression, and maybe take meds. Here's what Andrew says in the FAQs:
"Post-surgical depression is very likely as your testosterone levels crash. Chronic depression IS a major concern, and MAY require professional therapy (including antidepressants) before, during, and after the surgery.
"You need to consider the issue of depression BEFORE castration. If it is an issue before hand, it will almost certainly become a much larger one afterward. .. Some eunuchs may have to take various amounts of testosterone to alleviate depression and other problems."
There's more. Here's the link:

Best wishes to ya, binky69!

let's see:
Someone to look in on you once or twice a day for a few days would be good.
Some prepared food so you don't have to cook.
Betadine, hydrogen peroxide, and antibiotic ointments to keep clean and not get infected.

Well get plenty of rest today the day before "C"day. Wish you all the luck in you new lifestyle. Just think before you do things for a few days so as not to inflame your wound.
