As many of you know the chat server died. It was a bad death, blood and oh wait, we have a couple of pc's that we tried to get going but no luck. They are very old and at best would have been just a patch.

What we really need are some donations to purchase a new computer. We are not talking top end, just a small pc that will handle the chat room for the next several years.

As you all know this is a free site but there are times when we must ask for help as we cant shoulder the cost by ourselves.

Talula and I are hoping to raise about $500. which will give us a minimum system with moniter (which is in no better shape born in 1990 and dull now).

I have to go with Toad would you be able to set up a paypal account for this as it will be a far easier way for us oversea's chatters to make contributions

Well I'll help setup the paypal account if needed, oract as an intermedatary if that helps. I've got to goto the shrink office today to sign a release form for disability paperwork, so hopefully that will get sent out and processed today and I'll have some money to contribute in January.

if everyone who uses this site was to donate even $10 it would not be long till the amound required was soon reached. i will be sending my donation today im in the uk so might take a about a week to get there with the christmas post. have a happy christmas everyone

for starters thanks to Tal and River for their tireless work and may i suggest that they take the holidays off and relax we will survive.

now as far as the pay pal acct all we need is the name as it appears and the acct # and we can donate at will i can say for my household you will see something coming your way
