Hello there, I am looking for people within the UK to speak to about their experiences and desires for a new TV series called 'Extreme Pleasures'. The series is a celebration of sexual diversity and explores all aspects of sex, fetishism and the pursuit of gratification. We are hoping to find someone with an interesting story to tell who would be willing to share it with the viewing audience of the UKTV People channel. I would be happy to speak to anyone on 020 7713 6868 or by emailing ricky@flametv.co.uk. Please feel free to contact at any time. Thanks Ricky - Flame TV

A note to all Archive Users:

The Staff is aware of this User, who was kind enough to contact us first before being given permission to use the Boards for such a request.

We would advise anyone who responds to this to be very careful, however, as past incidents involving such things have (so far) turned into sensationalized trash TV and nothing more.

A quick look at the 'People' tab would suggest that the company's leading lights have sufficient reputation that they would be more than a little embarrassed at being associated with too many gratuitously sensational programs,. Their CVs list series like Panorama, This Week, Equinox and Horizon, all of which are (or were) flagship productions, and it would appear that the MD was largely responsible for 'Death on the Rock', which came close to giving Maggie Tatcher apoplexy by asking awkward questions about exactly MI6 and the SAS were up to when they ambushed and killed a group of IRA men in Gibraltar.

This is far from being any sort of a guarantee, but they are a reputable company making a program for a channel that specialised on documentaries about 'people'. The channel's schedules are at

http://www.uktv.co.uk/TV/Index.cfm (then click on UKTV People). Today they've been showing (yet another repeat) of a BBC series about the people who work at Heathrow Airport, and one about the people whose jobs entail dealing with unhygenic food shops, dirty resaurants, rats, etc.... They are also showing (late in the evening) a program about the 'Ann Summers' sex shop chain, which is at the presentable end of the business. I would have said that the channel was not looking for anything that was 'too kinky' because it would have too many of its viewers choking on their cocoa and writing letters to the Times about it....

I received an email from caviman001 which I am unable to reply to as the email now bounces back to me. There was no name or telephone number in the email - if you come across this message I would still be happy to talk to you about this project. Thanks Ricky 020 7713 6868. ricky@flametv.co.uk
